Hi,

Many exciting events are planned for this year’s DIWD including exhibitions in each state, an exhibition at No Vacancy Gallery in the QV Shopping Centre in Melbourne with a launch of this exhibition on 5th August. This exhibition will display the state finalist furniture/furnishings as well as some selected garments. If you are interested in attending the launch please email me at admin@doitwithdenim.org.au.

We also have planned three fashion parades. The first of which will be held at the annual Jeans for Genes Art Auction on 30th July at the AJC, Randwick where the winners will be announced. The second will be held at Castle Towers Shopping Centre on Thursday, 6th August where there will also be entertainment and the third will be held in Federation Square Melbourne on Jeans for Genes Day, 7th August along with entertainment, stalls and many other exciting things happening on the day. Make sure you get along to some or all of these events.

Remember, this competition is open to all budding designers (students and non-students) the competition closes on 19th June, so make sure you get your entry in on time!!
